About Suretayo
- How does SureTayo work?
SureTayo is a payment solution that makes paying and receiving payments between individuals, who do not know (or trust) each other, convenient and safe. By utilizing Dragonpay’s popular and widely used alternative payment channels, buyers and sellers can complete their transaction easily without having to worry about fraud and chargebacks typical with credit card payments.
Aside from facilitating payments, SureTayo also performs the role of a trusted, third party who will hold onto the funds until both parties are satisfied with their transaction. SureTayo is owned and operated by Dragonpay Corporation, the pioneer and market leader in alternative payments. Payments can be made through online banking, ATM, mobile wallets, over-the-counter cash payments and even international remittance.
- Do Sellers need to have a registered business in order to use SureTayo?
No. SureTayo is a person-to-person transaction facilitation service. We collect the money paid by the buyer; inform the seller to ship the items purchased once payment is in our safekeep; release the payment upon confirmation by the buyer that item was received in good order. Any and all government duties, taxes or fees for the actual sale of the item are the responsibilities of the buyer or the seller. SureTayo is only liable for taxes that are due to its service fees (if any).
- How does SureTayo make my online Buyer’s purchase secure?
SureTayo collects the payments and keeps it until the Buyer notifies that the items are already received. Once the Buyer confirms, SureTayo then releases the payment to the Seller on a weekly schedule.
- How can SureTayo help me as a Seller?
It makes it easier for Sellers to tract every transaction using the Seller Dashboard. Details on when the payments are made and when items are delivered will be available. SureTayo also enables Sellers to receive payments using more than 20,000 online and over-the-counter payment channels without opening multiple accounts on banks or communicating with each payment center. SureTayo handles everything and disburses the payments to the Seller’s bank account. Credibility is also increased because Buyers know that they are transacting with a SureTayo Registered Seller.
- What can I sell using SureTayo?
You may sell any physical or digital item as long as it is not included under the Prohibited Items mentioned in the Terms and Conditions that Sellers agreed to during registration.
- Does SureTayo handle Customer complaints?
SureTayo only answers concerns regarding Customer payments (validation, disbursements and refunds) and not for product or service related inquiries. Buyers need to communicate directly with Sellers for these types of concerns.

Seller Account and Profile
- How do I register as a Seller?
Register here and follow the steps of registration. The Seller must be at least Eighteen (18) years of age. Seller needs to signup online and upload a valid government-issued ID and proof of ownership of the bank account where collections will be deposited. Furthermore, you warrant that you are lawfully allowed to offer such products or service online. You can choose to submit your bank details later in order for you to be eligible to receive your weekly earnings.
- Why do I need to provide my bank account and a picture of my ATM card or Passbook?
The bank account that the Seller needs to provide is where SureTayo will disburse the payments received from the Buyers for every completed transaction. The payout will be on a weekly schedule. We need your bank details and the picture of your ATM card or passbook bearing the same name that is shown on your Valid ID and bank account name in order for us to verify the legitimacy of every Seller that signs up in SureTayo. This is for the safety of both the buyers and the sellers and to protect everyone from frauds and scams that could happen with online transactions. We make sure that all information provided are handled with utmost confidentiality.
- Is there a registration fee when I sign up as a Seller?
The registration fee and transaction fees are currently FREE for a limited promo period. Our standard registration fee is Php100 and per transaction fee is Php25. You may check our fees here: SureTayo Rates
- Do I need to create another online shop or upload my products on the SureTayo platform?
No. There is no need to create another shop platform. Unlike other escrow services wherein you need to create an extension of your online shop, re-upload product images and re-layout everything, SureTayo does not require the same. You can readily use your own Facebook, Instagram and other online platforms and use the SureTayo system at the same time. We allow our Registered Sellers to use our logo and website link to be promoted on their shops.
Payments
- How do I receive the payments from my completed transactions?
SureTayo will disburse your earnings to the bank account that you provided. You may readily upload these during registration or later when you already made your first transaction. Kindly make sure that the bank account is under your name and has the same name reflected on your valid ID. We don’t allow sellers to use a different bank account apart form his/her own.
- When will the payments be transferred to my bank account?
The payout is on a weekly schedule. Collections are settled weekly. We have a cut-off of Friday midnight. The payments for all successfully completed transactions, less the fees, from Saturday to Friday of the previous week will be transferred to your declared bank account every Wednesdays of the succeeding week.
- Do I still need to make a request before I receive my weekly payout?
No. There is no need to make a request because your payments will be processed weekly and you will automatically receive your earnings every Wednesday of the week.
- What are the payment options that my Customers/Buyers can use to pay for the items that they purchase?
SureTayo is the escrow service of Dragonpay, the leading payment solutions in the country. It gives customers an access to more than 20,000 payment channels which include Dragonpay Credits Mobile App (an e-wallet that you can easily top up and allows you to make real-time payments), online bank transfers and several over-the-counter payments at a minimal fee.
- How can I get the payment if my Buyer fails to click the button to confirm that the items are already delivered?
If Buyer fails to confirm receipt of items or did not report non-receipt of the item/s, the Buyer is deemed to have authorized SureTayo to remit the escrowed funds to the Seller. Buyer shall follow the procedures set forth on the Site in the event the items are rejected.
- Can SureTayo process refunds?
Yes. A refund will be issued in the event the Buyer did not receive a notice of shipment from the Seller seven (7) days after successful payment and notice to ship. The refund amount excludes the fees that may be incurred. For other types and reasons for refunds, please click this link for the complete details and process.
Transaction Process
- How do I start and complete a transaction?
There are two ways to make a transaction: Click the ‘New Order’ button from your Seller Dashboard. Fill out the order form with the details of the order (item description, quantity and price) and you may also add an item for the shipping fee if this will be shouldered by your customer as per your agreement. Once you submit the form, your buyer will receive an email notification through the email address you entered when you created the order form. You will then be notified thru email once your Buyer has already paid successfully. You may ship the items and enter the shipping details in order to notify your Buyer that the items are on the way. The notification will also include a link that your Buyer should click once the items are received in order to facilitate the transfer of payment to your bank account and include this on your weekly payout.

- What should I do once I receive the notification of successful payment?
After your Buyer made a successful payment, you may already ship the products. Enter the shipping details thru the link included on the email notification of successful payment. Once sent, the buyer will be informed of the shipping details thru email. This email will contain the link that the Buyer should click to confirm receipt of the items.
- Does SureTayo also handle item deliveries/shipping?
No. SureTayo only handles payment solutions and not the shipping. You can use your preferred shipping service or courier to deliver your items and input the details in order to facilitate the confirmation of the receipt of the order thus completing your transaction.
- What if I happen to have the chance to deliver the items privately, will it be allowed?
Yes. As long as you input the details of the delivery on the Shipping Details page, the transaction will still be valid. You need to still send the notification of shipping to the Customer because it contains the link that should be clicked in order for the system to disburse the payment to your payout wallet.
- Can I extend the allowed delivery time duration per transaction?
The time duration allowance should be strictly followed. Once you receive the notification of successful payment, you should be able to have the items shipped within 7 days. Failure to send a notification of Shipping would entail SureTayo to refund the payment to the Customer.
- Who can cancel a transaction?
Sellers can cancel the transaction without incurring any fees as long as the Buyer hasn’t paid for the transaction yet. If Buyer already made a successful payment, the transaction cannot be cancelled anymore. Since the rule for not receiving a ‘notice of shipping’ 5 days after successful payment would entail an automatic refund, less the service fee. Service and transaction fees are non-refundable.
Buyer Concerns
- How can I pay for my purchases via SureTayo?
SureTayo is the escrow service of Dragonpay, the leading payment solutions in the country. It gives customers an access to more than 20,000 payment channels which include Dragonpay Credits Mobile App (an e-wallet that you can easily top up and allows you to make real-time payments), online bank transfers and several over-the-counter payments at a minimal fee. Here is a complete list of our payment channels.
- As a Buyer, what assurance do I have that the Seller is real and not a scam?
SureTayo exerts all effort to verify the identity of the Seller through his id and bank account details. But even in the chance that the Seller’s identification details are fraudulent, SureTayo will still hold onto your payment until you confirm that the item received was in good order before we will release the payment to the Seller.
- What fees will I pay?
SureTayo does not charge the Buyer for its service. However, some of our bank partners charge a higher fee for their collection service so we may pass on these surcharges to the Buyer. The Dragonpay payment selection page will clearly display any surcharges that may be levied given a particular payment partner.
- If I am unhappy with my purchase, what can I do?
You may open a Dispute ticket if the item received is not what was offered online and we will hold onto your payment until the matter is resolved. However, if you simply changed your mind and decide not to accept the order even though there is nothing wrong with it, this is not covered by the Terms of Use of our service. You will need to contact the Seller directly to know about their return policy for this case.
